Use the files in the following order:

1. Introduction to CPPS. This will give you a 5 minute overview of CPPS and acts as a good introduction to what follows.

2. Creating an effective Mandate (longer version). This video includes key aspects of a mandate that will be useful in guiding the teams’s work, measuring the success of the team and helping communicate the purpose and value of the work.

3. Mandate Slides Video. This is a simpler, shorter version of the above video. It can be used as a starter video or as a reminder video if there is a time gap between watching the longer video and starting to craft the mandate.

4. These are files that you can download:

a. CPPS New. This is a high level look at the 17 steps in the CPPS. It is a useful way to see the overall discipline that makes up the CPPSystem.

b. Examples mandate. These are a few examples of well crafted mandates for reference.

c. Template mandate. This is a document that can act as a checklist during or after crafting your mandate.
